K Gown was established in 2014 as a private label brand when I was searching for my own wedding gown. That was the first time I attempt to design it just for myself by putting together what I love most. My curious mind wondered about the process to join so many fabrics and elements together to create a masterpiece. And the next thing I know is I am now sewing a complete wedding dress with a well-structured bodice with boning and corset accompanied by an average of 5 layers of fabric, each around 4-5 meters long (or daily-wear dress consumes around 2-3 meters of fabric).

And K Gown has been in Singapore for more than a decade and has helped hundreds of brides to craft their dream bridal gowns.

Every stitch, every seam, and every detail is meticulously crafted to create a gown that fits flawlessly and flatters your figure.

I carefully select the finest fabrics, paying close attention to drape, texture, and how they complement different body shapes. For our plus-size gowns, this is especially crucial. We choose fabrics that provide the right amount of support and structure while still feeling soft and luxurious against the skin.

Hi, I am Kim. Thanks for your interest in my collection of bridal gown Singapore. All wedding dresses are designed and made in-house at K Gown. My principle of design focuses on functionality and harmony. Craftsmanship and fabric quality are at the heart of everything we do at K Gown.

I love to explore with different floral lace motifs and gently glimmering fabrics. I actively search for and import the latest materials directly from suppliers to bring fresh inspiration to my bridal collection. For each wedding gown in my collection, I explore different ways to blend these lovely elements to make each gown unique. Each of my designs is truly available as ONE piece only.

Over the last ten years, I have served hundreds of brides and I realized the majority of us are not born to be models with well-balanced hourglass figures. My design aims to accentuate your best features while providing a comfortable and flattering fit.

I am pretty proud of my achievement with designing plus-size bridal gowns and simple yet elegant wedding dresses too. It is much more challenging compared to a regular size and mass produced dress, but the joy of seeing a bride feel confident and beautiful in one of my creations makes it all worthwhile

Sustainable Bridal Style: K Gown’s Commitment to Eco-Conscious Fashion while Being Cost Effective

It takes a lot of time, skill, and effort to create a proper wedding dress. It is true that the time spent to make a dress is much longer than most wedding ceremonies (average is 4-8hrs). For me, the next time I might consider wearing my wedding dress will be on my wedding anniversary (provided that my size still permits). With that in mind, I believe a wedding dress is the best candidate for the 3R framework: Reduce – Reuse – Recycle.

The majority of my gowns are made-to-order. Bride who are exploring wedding gown are invited to my sample piece to feel the fit and quality as well as my design accent. For a semi-bespoke and bespoke gown, a made-to-order will be done just for her. Bride can choose to rent or to buy. In both option, she will be the first one to wear it.

After her wedding, the gown will be included in my Ready-to-wear Bridal Gown Dress Collection and be extended for the next bride who does not have the luxury of time. For a rush wedding planning, bride can rent any an off-the-rack bridal gown that fits her size. At the end of shelf-life, the fabric will then be taken apart for braining storming process to reduce fabric consumption and my clients love new gowns 😊
